Add a menu
Anyone can contribute. A menu goes in by pull request on GitHub, and an automatic check tells you what to fix.
- Make it. Draft one from your library with the plugin, or write it by hand, then refine it in the plugin's Menu Editor. See Authoring menus.
- File it.
menus/movie/<TMDB id>/<menuId>.menu.json, with a.listing.jsonbeside it that gives the title, a short description and tags. - Check it.
python3 tools/catalogue_check.pyruns the same rules as the pull request. - Submit it. Use the form below, or open a pull request yourself. Either way you dedicate the menu to the public domain (CC0 1.0) and confirm it has no studio material.

The form is the easiest way: paste your menu, and a check runs on the issue. If it passes, a pull request is opened for you; if not, you get a comment saying what to fix. You need a GitHub account.
The rules, briefly
- No studio posters, stills, logos, music or video, and no links to any. External image and audio links are not accepted yet.
- A real menu, not an unedited draft: labels a viewer would expect, not ripped file names.
- Changing a menu means raising its
revisionand saying what changed.
